The GYROTONIC® method is an original, and unique movement practice which incorporates the fundamentals of Yoga, T'ai Chi, Ballet, Swimming, Gymnastics, and all other forms of dance. GYROTONIC® exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. WIth GYROTONIC® exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
Ballet is one of the most beautiful of movement art forms that takes such great skill, determination, and passion. Whether you want to learn from the very beginning, how to plié or tendu or want to fine tune your technique, I am honored to take you through that journey that has been my passion since I was three years old. Ballet is an amazing "workout", but it is one of the greatest movement art forms that integrates the "mind-body connection" that keeps us all young and vibrant. An added benefit, is combining Ballet with the GYROTONIC® Method and you will be allowed to further explore your body to its greatest potential.
To put it simply, my mission is to allow you to MOVE!!! I practice within a nurturing, inspiring, and safe environment where you can create and/or get reacquainted with the best version of yourself. Be it working through an injury, or wanting to integrate movement into your everyday life, you will be able to do so with infinite possibilities. With today's demands we all forget to take care of ourselves. We put other priorities in front of our own well being. Carving out one hour for yourself could be life changing. Whether it being a GYROTONIC® session, a Ballet session, or a combination of the two, you will get to give your body the love that it deserves!
